The 10/18/20 sermon by Michael Gowens considers Matthew 5:9, the 7th Beatitude, in the continuing series on "The Distinguishing Traits of Christian Character." Using as his premise that Jesus is the ultimate peacemaker, Gowens proceeds to develop the ideas two main ideas: 1. Peace is the byproduct of righteousness; 2. Peace comes through strength. In this world of conflict and tension, the need for Christian peacemakers is great.
